And the Rain
Trying to fill the time and fill the page.
While the rain outside takes center stage.
The plans I've made have been delayed.
I placed my bet, but the bid's been stayed.
I've now resigned to be confined.
Within the bounderies of my mind.
The arid sense of recompence.
Keep my thoughts up on the fence.
Deadlines ticking with every drop that falls.
But I'm safe and dry inside these walls.
Waiting till the God's see fit.
To let me continue and get on with it.
The pressure cooker is letting off steam.
Telling me things are'nt as they seem.
There are only so many breaths in one lifetime.
So I'll take a break and put it down in rhyme.
