And That Was the Night
And that was the night
When two of us were on sight
Beneath the sparkling light
Of a fair and starry night.
And that was the night
Skies adorned of splendid lights
Mine emotions seems tight
Awake and wide- it wasn’t right.
And that was the night
Where he drag me all alone
Holding hands ‘neath the light
We run beneath the mystic moon.
And that was the night
No depth of love nor fear of heights
Softly dripping drop by drop
And sentiments know where to stop.
And that was the night.
