And So He Desires Both

Life without a dream is like a dream without a life
And so he desires both
A life without water is like water without a life
And so he desires both

Water without a glow is like a glow without water
And so he desires both
Hope without yoke is like yoke without hope
And so he desires both

A crown without a home is like a home without a crown
And so he desires both
A stem without its root is like a root without its stem
And so he desires both

Abdulhafeez This is a creative write. I like how you compared the desires of men in each line. Thanks for the congrats and nice comment on my Birthday poem.

Congratulations on your win. Love the contrasts and the way man is portrayed as being full of contradictions. SuZ
