And I of You
I like to linger and linger I do,
In the morning solitude,
Before the sun bursts into view,
I linger and linger in thoughts of you
While I think and think of you
A lifting sun comes peeking through
As It steals away the morning dew
I think and think and think of you
Then beneath this new day blue
I’ll spend my time as I always do
With thoughts and thoughts and thoughts of you
Until I rest with dreams of you
