And I Lost Her

Tonight I Can Write The Saddest Lines The night wind revolves in the sky and sings. Sitting alone,On a bench that's made for two, Only one side is empty,For that place is meant for you. To think that I do not have her.To feel that I have lost her. I find myself walking,Not knowing where to go, But I always end up In that special place that we know. I no longer love her, that's certain, but maybe I love her. Love is so short, forgetting is so long. I just want her to know how I truly feel, and to know that my words are nothing but real. I made decisions some right and some wrong These things and more I wish I had not done But I can't go back And I want to change 'Cause all my mistakes They pushed me away from you And it doesn't take a special time to make a new start; it takes only desire and true love from the heart.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
