And he sold the kid

He was whimpering
Again and again
Repeatedly pleading for love
And it was me
Who was ruthlessly counting
Its price.

Kid was innocent
And knew nothing
That
He loved so much me
From the first day of his life
But
I invested in him
From the date of his birth .

( A true event that shocked me
When I saw a farmer sold the kid of a goat.)
