ANCIENT FOUNTAIN A fountain amid a floral garden, flowing to no end, Still watering surrounding flowers, the souls of them therein. Perineal plantings, growing wild, vines of weeds and thorn, Yet yielding strength and beauty there, blooming fragrant every morn The rustic fountain ever pouring, encompassed by ivies overgrown, Nourishing the toils and blooming tangles, thriving on it’s own. Like an eternal prime, a spout from glory, A life source deep within earthen grounds, God’s Spoken Word, the Holy Bible, a treasure I have found.

Revisiting your comments today, thank you again for them. It is a poem of a mother’s crying for all of her children now gone, those she birthed and those she adopted, only having memories of them to cherish.
