Ancient Aliens
The ancient aliens came to earth
They came in droves for what it was worth
Silver saucers spinning through the blue
Aliens landed with much ado
Revered as Gods they helped us all out
Most scared at first, we did scream and shout
They were small and grey with bulging eyes
Despite their strange looks they were nice guys
They built pyramids lickety split
That Mayan calendar was a hit
They brought us frogs and slithery snakes
I wish they hadn’t for heaven’s sakes!
Showing us how to plant crops was great
Sharing was a kind alien trait
Soon they left and zoomed off past the moon
Promising to come back again soon
We eagerly await their return
There are many more things we can learn
