Ana Saved Me

For once in my life I actually listened to Ana last night, For once I didn’t put up a fight, And though she still did indeed cause me fright, I ignored everything else and closed my eyes tight. Last night she actually helped me instead of paining me, I can’t even begin to explain to you my relief, And though she didn’t instantaneously give me peace, It was enough to silence my grief. It’s as if she predicted the outcome and tried to save me from a night of excruciating hell, She reluctantly caught me before I fell, A huge thank you is screaming from my brain cells, What would’ve happened if I hadn’t listened; only time would be able to tell. Usually you feed my mind a bunch of bullshit and lies, But for some reason this time you weren’t denied, This is what I mean when I say in only her I can confide, Mind battling her has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride, But in the end I’ll always ensure that I take MY side. #AnxietyAwareness
