An Unreasonable Request

an unreasonable request presents itself for redressal although we neither judge nor jest how may we deny whilst being hospitable we begin by presenting a spherical view hoping that better sense may prevail but spurred by greed pleas renew if we rightly refuse he will pale of course we may be evasive with niceties of kindly demeanour rejection easy for we are not submissive but we wish that blissful love feels no tremor then there is also the matter of karmic consequence for indulgence would impose on him karmic debt our refusal entwined with love the balance so that mirror of time reflects no regret 28-February-2021

Unseeking Seeker, I absolutely loved this piece. I loved the form, the rhyme, the flow...but I had some difficulty understanding it. In the fourth line could you have meant "we" instead of "be?" Who is the "he" in the eighth line? I could find no word "redressal" in the EOD. I repeat, I really enjoyed this poem...exceptional writing, but I just couldn't get past some small hitches. I would love some explanatory notes.

You are right! It is an inadvertent spellcheck error, soon rectified! Happy you enjoyed! ‘Redressal’ is a common enough word, look up Collins dictionary ... https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/redressal
