An Unfinished Poem

I am an unfinished poem
A Shakespearen sonnet without a couplet
A six-word haiku
A narrative sans resolution

I am the disconnect between the thoughts you want to convey and vessel that transports
them
The vessel that transports them and the mind that receives them
The difference between intent and understanding

I’m an ellipsis living within the space between your most profound thought
And the blank page
Waking in the union between your happiest illusion and harshest reality
Breathing in the pause between I love
And you
I am the unfinished poem
And yet I am so much more

This made me smile and gave me a feeling of hope. To be a work in progress is not so bad. :)
