Just That Archaic Poet Poet Rhyme

An Uncomfortable Silence

Break the Hush (if you must!),
And be seduced by quiet Lust
That would, I fear, toss my trust
Into the fires of blood and dust
Muffled cries, I understand
Would hold My Heart in harmful hands,
And would I ever take a stand:
(Or simply sink in silent sands?)
