An Ultimate Act of Kindness
When the heart beats in rhythm with time,
When that heart beat is not mine but yours,
When flowers bloom and Spring is prime,
Your eyes see but are washed by Other’s tears,
When the breath that keeps another alive,
Is the breath that travels through your lungs,
When two school friends live and thrive,
with your two kidneys you gave so young!
In your brief life that was put out in an accident,
You gave so much to so many in your death,
Your act of kindness is unmatched in importance,
your donated organs has given so many a new birth!
