An Open Soul

by Michael J. Falotico Reaching out to fix a hole. Patching cracks to free a soul. Reading words that can't be seen. Holding thoughts that have no lean. Watching fear as time passes by. Endless sight of a dream that can't fly. Reflections seen that are not me. A younger version that was not free. Concrete rhymes that spill my soul. A life touched with words to hold.

Great use of irony here, Micheal -- reading words that can't be seen, reflections that aren't you. It seems I felt more freedom when I was young thatn I do today. A beautiful poem, my friend. Love, Carolyn
