An Offfering Often Offered To An Orphan's Offspring
AN OFFERING OFTEN OFFERED AN ORPHAN'S OFFSPRING
an angel was being soiled by a sordid soul
a deviant degenerate so droll on the whole
she was unknowingly complicit in an implicit fraud
that prismatic angel a lothario would laud
'twas not in her mind his kindred and kind
and angels should never be birthed so blind
ne're to see nor hear of danger in her midst
and swear the splendedness whenever we kissed
she followed and was led by a demonic deviancy
and i to harbor my secrets with expedient frequency
lest an angel divine should take heed of her heart
and from a heart of ice should she have fled to part
for cold was her lover, my angel divine
a demon who displayed compassion by design
i set my turquise eyes on an angel and her wondrous wings
a man of mahem who ruled strictly over his underlings
alas upon a day an angel awoke to a sorrowful sight
she saw inside this man she'd made love to last night
and what dwelled within caused the angelic to flee
when took flight an angel so far from me
