An Innocent Childhood Memory

When school home work was done Went with friend every evening to play swing and slide In Garden Playing in joy Plucked beautiful flowers for god Enjoy Walk swift Beggar on way Gift When school home work was done Plucked beautiful flowers for god Gift
Note : A true childhood memory. Everyday I would play, pluck flowers for God and go to temple. On the way there was a blind beggar. I would drop one flower in his bowl. He would bless me. I would be so happy. Later I realised what would a blind beggar do with my flower. He obviously wanted money. I still laugh at my stupidity. In childhood we find joy in small things Date: 8/21/2020

Rama, thanx for participating. Again, you almost had a good go at this form except the co- rhyme of middle lines of your stanzas. But hearty congrats for your podium finish. Mohan
