An Incomplete Love Story

Tomorrows child waits for yesterday.
When love was still a mile away.
In the valley of a still moon light.
The stars recall that starry night.

Prayerful dreams hung up so high.
You can barely see them with your eye.
And yet deep in your solemn heart.
You still rehearse your long lost part.

The actors changed as the plot waned.
And in the end nothing was gained.
The mystery of where love goes.
We shrug our shoulder's, nobody knows.

Sometimes the future is never written.
No one know's if you're going to be smitten.
That's when we listen for the sun.
For it's beyond what has been done.

Sir, your poem was really nice andI really enjoyed reading it but unfortunately I couldn't plce it in the contest because the instructions were clear that he guy and girl are in love, but they can't marry, you have to be really specific that why they can't marry each other, the reason of their separation was the main thing, I hope that you can forgive me for not placing you, good luck my friend and have a really nice day
