An Hour

I wish to have that awesome power To turn the hands of time for an hour So I can extend my time with you And eat my lunch for an hour or two. I can also just simply admire the view Of me sitting an inch next to you Remembering the gestures you made Before the magic starts to fade. An hour it is, an hour it is worth But I will gladly turn it back and forth If you can stay longer for that last meal And ask you why your breath you steal.
