An Ever Change

Are you loving an ever-changing me?
Or are you loving an idea?
Or do you love what cannot be?
Or do you love in fear?

What is love?
You know a past, you struggle a present and know not a future
An invented word for proven worth
To be masters of old yet new an amateur

I have seen how the world change
I have seen how love don’t accord
I have seen how stubborn the world remain
How much shorter can a life afford?

The word love has depreciated
It’s no more then just a value of living
Because we are all dedicated
And tired of serving

Is there someone you hear?
A loving someone perhaps to be...
There was an idea
Can you yet love a changed me?
