An Evening Walk
Stark against eve's fading light
Against the dreary drab concrete
Dainty towers pale and bright
Like beacons fixed on modest feet
Stole they did my flitting eyes
With the gentle sway of your gait
Rippling forms aim to entice
With every shifting of your weight
Teasing a furtive peeking
Your knees beneath aflutt'ring skirt
Calves trim and ivory seeking
With all my naive affections flirt
