An Evening Walk

Stark against eve's fading light Against the dreary drab concrete Dainty towers pale and bright Like beacons fixed on modest feet Stole they did my flitting eyes With the gentle sway of your gait Rippling forms aim to entice With every shifting of your weight Teasing a furtive peeking Your knees beneath aflutt'ring skirt Calves trim and ivory seeking With all my naive affections flirt
