An Epiphany Dawns
Not my problem
…yet their words they just screamed “Help me”
Another post you’ve seen online
There was a time you’d probe that pain
Pause. Stop awhile to check they’re fine.
Once, you’d have thought sincerely
But today you shrug and shake your head
There must be drugs or self-caused harm
Not your problem; they’re not near dead.
That instance didn’t dull humanity
One thousand thoughts did, one thousand times
The crime’s not someone’s call for help
It's that echo, you can't define.
