An Engraving On a Stomach

An engraving on a stomach
a doctor carves up a picture
on a stomach
it is his block by stone
in the light from a surgery
this engraving in the skin
is his masterpiece
and looks like one ski trail
over the stomach

Even doctor's need to be creative and actualise their artistic talents. Great stuff! Liz

I guess it is the artist I him that brings the true reward for what he does, art is our opiate, because of it we too may tolerate our pesonal misfortunes ... they make scars the metaphor for battles won.
