An Endless Coin Toss
Where does it all begin?
How will it all end?
Do we burn in hell from our eternal sin?
Or do we rise up on heaven's wind?
Perhaps we simply die,
with no room for faith.
since we cant all rely,
on what some consider safe...
Some say we are reborn,
into a world of spirit
With no room for scorn
and no way to fear it.
So then what is this soul?
that prevents death in vain.
Sure it gives us these feelings,
But does not a dog too feel pain?
No i think it to be obvious now,
i have began to apprehend.
For as life be it the beginning,
Let then death be the end.
And as for now, what is next?
Man meets a wall he cannot cross.
A question unanswered,
An endless coin toss...
So let it be known
to the one that has thrown
this life's unknown
that your beauty has been shown.
Such a paradox in my mind
that has fooled all mankind
with it a humor i do find,
for with all comes death,
and with death all may know
but know not will the living.
An endless coin toss...
