An Empty Space

in a dark room with lit halls
the cold is seeping through the walls
and i dont know what to do
my mom is leaving and my sister to

her hand clasps in mine
but it does nothing to widen the gap in time
shes on my crying shoulder
my hearts sinking colder and colder

and as my best friend walks out the door
all my tears are falling to the floor
her eyes glance back, desprate to stay
but time ran out and they ran away

now the halls are dark and lights do not light
i sit rather cold drinking my sprite
but the taste of it is sick
i drink it cause it was my sisters pick
