An Emotional Rollercoaster
Through the many changes of life
one goes up but then comes down
so often with no reason or no rhyme
just simply makes you show a frown
To show feelings makes one strange
for you have notions of others thought
thinking they think this of me I'm sure
but all the time I'm wrong a lot
The impression all of us sometimes give
is being cold-hearted lacking real care
not wanting to show how we really are
putting up our guard pointing to the air
But maybe if we dared to be really true
the other person would receive us back
with arms outstretched ready to cuddle
now wouldn't that show we can crack
Sometimes we need to take a chance
you never know what could come about
life could be transformed even overnight
believe? do you now have a doubt?
