An Early Morning Sun

A-n early morning sun
I-s rising above the horizon;
Z-enith awaits the noontime,
A-s it expects the beacon.

A-n early morning sun
B-egins to share the light;
I-n eighth day December,
A-ll shadows drift into the
N-ight.
