An Autumn King
The growing of a boy
To a man
Steps learned
The passage of journeys
Of the heart
Of the mind
Of the trees
There can only be
One Earth King
Love can never die
He lives
For, he is part of everything
His crown
Now decorated with leaves
From an Autumn Queen
For a boy born in Autumn
Became a man
Became a king
Became everything
The Whispering trees
Sent a leaf
For a new King to wear
For a King crowned
Upon his knees
The responsibility to bear
Of Heartstone
The new King stood up
Proud and tall
With Autumn leaves in his crown
The gathering of the Elements
The Seasons
The Winds
Celebrated in the Great Hall
Faeries,flew
Trees, whispered again
A beginning
Something new
For a king
A beginning
To a new reign
The Heartstone glowed
For a King
Who stood tall
An Autumn boy
The joy
The love
Brought in to a hall
A sense of sadness
For the passing
Of an Earthen King
His face
His stories
Now on the Tapestry of Magic
That hung in the Great Hall
His love
For everything
The Learning of the Wise Ways
His humility
Is what makes a great King
The leaf
Given by the Whispering Trees
Glowed
Upon his cloak of forest bark and leaves
He kissed it,
and believed
A sense of joy
For an Autumn King
The tears that ran down his face
Were tears of sweet gentle rain
For a boy
A new beginning
Born in Autumn
Became a man
Became a King
