An Angry Poet

White is the color of the pristine page Awaiting words from an angry poet, Soon defiled by inexplicable rage Surely intentional s/he did show it, Living forever words of this dimwit Making of the page a blackened abyss Devoid of kindness, enviable bliss, Expressing instead the venomous ply Delivered like traitorous Judas's kiss On internet page that will never die.

This is sadly what some do "Devoid of kindness, enviable bliss, Expressing instead the venomous ply" I am thrilled I have not been the recipient of this meanness.

Oh, well...it is to be expected, I suppose. When we put our thoughts out there before the public, we have to be open to whatever the responses, I think. This wasn't written about anyone in particular, but I suppose it could apply to those folks.

Excellent ink and that final line speaks volumes Milton, people don't realise that once something is posted, even if its later removed the info remains in the ether forever, I smiled at the form you used - should be 'disdain' lol:-) so good to have you back hugs Jan xx

Thanks so much, Jan. As you well know, "dimwit" could also be "pidiot!" I am glad you liked this poem; I rather liked it myself, but then I'm so biased!

Oh my! Of course not, Deb. Can you think of anyone it might apply to? Okay, seriously, I can think of some, but it wouldn't be prudent to mention them by name, right?
