An Angel, Sent From Above

An Angel, Sent From Above By Rick Rucker Casting about, with no love of my own, I found the Wonder that kept me from being Alone! She walks with a certain Regal Grace, With a lovely figure, and exquisite face, Words I do not have, to express my Love, For this Angel, sent from Above, That has saved a poor man like me, From a life of Eternal Misery! Some of my friends, worry that I am falling too fast, That these feelings that I have, may not last, They do not feel what my Heart does reveal, That this ravishing creature is so very Real, That she can brighten my darkest day, Make an old man like me want to run and play, And the most wonderful thing, When I am with her, it is always Spring! I walked outside today, it was cloudy with mist, She came over, the Sun came out when we kissed! Coincidence? You know I think not, I want to always share what she has got, The power to lift me off of the mat, To get me going, even when knocked down flat! Her undyingly upbeat spirit, Her voice, like an Angel’s laughter when you hear it, I’d like to say this to all of my friends, I want to be with this woman until my life ends!
