An Angel Lies In Waiting

By the bedside of a dying man
An angel lies in waiting
To carry out the Master’s plan
For a Servant who is fading
On the wings of this beautiful carrier
She’ll transport this faithful one
To be by his Saviors side
When his time on earth is done
Our Savior in heaven has a plan
For every earthly soul
For those who live a righteous life
Shall never face a toll
He’s prepared for them a glorious place
To live for ever more
To join with his fellow believers
On that beautiful shore
