An Angel Has Appeared

Late at night, feeling low,
   a tear trickles down.
Asking God for guidance,
   no answer found.
Still praying, having hope and faith,
   knowing my prayers are heard.
Patience and understanding ring in my ears,
   sang by a little bird.
God does not work by our clock,
   not mine or yours.
Patience is a virtue.
Something God will bless you for.
When the time is here at last,
  your angel will appear.
You may not think God listens to prayers,
but I know he always hears.

Have faith. Everyone needs something to believe in.
