An Angel


Reveling in her mystery
An unknown aura touches
The shoulder of her guardian soul
Protecting it, eternally  on her watch.
             *******
She inhales in perfect beauty
Embracing the images mind
In majestic grace, she held captive
With isolated thoughts, the sands of time.
             *******
The spirit moved in quick response
To what lay, in that moment of time
She reached inside the physical realm
Righting that moment to unwind.
              *******
She held the few granules of time
Knowing a life was saved today
The angel held out her hand
Knowing divine love, saved the day.
               *******

A highly creative rhyme form and I like the way you separated the stanzas with the stars. The description of how this angel is always watching out for us bring me comfort. Beautiful work! Love, Carolyn
