AN AMAZING FRIEND
With your first "hello", your voice so mesmerizing
When I look at you, your eyes are a glow
Feeling the vibration of your charm, so hypnotizing
When our eyes met, we connected as friends, I know
Your smile so soft and drowsy
As you let it play upon your face
Friendships, like rose gardens
They need care and protection, to bloom
You are a precious gem of love and compassion
Friendships are sometimes clear, like window glass
That's being lightly expressed, with a soft passion
You make each new day better than the last
For this friendship, great distances were traveled
Suddenly, captivated by your personality, so bubbly and bright
Your voice granted me a peace, I didn't know was possible
And wasted no time carving its place in my heart
