An Amazing Angel
An amazing Angel of glory
With wings of shining glory
Dangling in the moonlight above
Perched on a hill like a dove.
Her eyes sparkled
Like a bright star in the sky;
My eyes startled
Like a startled bird in the sky.
I was utterly dazed,
Distracted and amazed
With her amazing gesture
Accompanied with feeling to nurture.
Angel! Smile like an enchantress,
But entangle not my soul.
Angel! Spread thy wings of kindness
And let my soul roll.
