Amputated Candy Dream: Daddy Is Home

AMPUTATED CANDY DREAM (DADDY IS HOME)

Service to your country's breastplate,
Honour to a nation is your fate
Hero of the state,
Weapon of the government,
Legend of the battlefield sent

to thrive tirelessly in war,
Not mindful of what might befall...
You took your life in your hand
But the battle claimed your hand,
became the emblem of survival,
Spoiler of the taken cities, upheaval,
As you traded a part to the war.
Loyalty to country's what you stand for.
My imagination unveil it suspense,
Goodies I envision'd & awaits

But the reality was your amputation
Which shatter'd my Candy dream imagination
Now that peace is come
And the wars you overcome,
Home you returned,
In filth of army strips, enamored
In bandages you're braced,
Can't even imagine what you faced
and what the blast of war would bring,
Filth in trench from fall to spring.

I waited for your embrace,
With anticipation & bright face
As you bring back blue days
But Daddy returned pledged to his words,
Conquering death rendezvous of wars.
