Amongst Angels
Holding you as we slowly dance
in a crowd but we're alone in a trance
I see no halo above your head
I see no wings on your shoulders
I see no harp in your hands
Just my heart as we dance slower
Whenever I am with you
I am amongst angels
Your touch so nice
Your sway does entice
Your eyes, paradise
Whenever I am with you
I am amongst angels
The night fast it flies
yet I cannot say goodbye
do I dare even suggest
than you give me such a kiss...
Through the window glows the morning sun
as I see you sleep I know we only begun
Heaven is being with you
as if my prayers answer true
For whenever I am with you
I am amongst angels
