America

America

The tracks that take us places
Are not fresh but laid for years.
The consequence of actions,
Hopes and dreams
And sometimes fears.

Adventure and excitement
Are not found there in the seats,
Although the view is pleasant.
Passivity defeats.

So take my hand and trust me;
Let's set our vision loose.
We start a new adventure
Jumping off that tired caboose.
