Ambrosia
The Waiter, to the Feast of Life brings
the last dessert, the end of things
After you've had all of life's sweets, you've bitten too much
The Waiter comes in with the finishing touch
You've seen it coming, some take it early
but you've never really been in a hurry
You pucker, but smile, at your last earthly treat
The Ambrosia of Death is so bittersweet
