Amazing You
I have been wrapped up in time, not paying attention
Feeling left out from the thrill of victory
The agony of defeat, or that honorable mention
That friendly note, that implies you get me
There is a delicate wave of give and take
It's what draws me back to this amazing place
I sometimes wonder how I can relate
Imagining your words, imagining your face
To seize life by the moment, is truly a gift
I falter in my own theory's, this is too true
But, it's you know who, who gives me a lift
And your unconditional love is amazing too
