Amazing

Life with you was so amazing
I can't imagine it without
 God reached down and touched us
I really haven't any doubt 

When we began our wedded life 
Said our vows, made one from two,
And put the rings upon our fingers
From then on,  was only you

When I awoke beside you
And I looked upon your face
It made the coming day, for me,
I know it happened through God's grace

Days turned  into months and years
Spring and Summer turned to Fall 
God was watching over us
We never struggled much at all

We had everything we needed
Had adventures; quite a few
When our heads met with the pillows
There was only me and you

Now God, in his good graces
In the abundance of his love
Has lifted you to Glory
Where you are watching from above

You were my friend, my wife, my lover
In life, were all of these to me
I'll be with you, again in Heaven,
To live throughout eternity.

Don't you be concerned for me
He is still here by my side
To guide me, while remembering
Our amazing, God blessed,  ride.
