Am I Wrong ?...... But What About Me?.....

I watched him beat her
Until she had no color
And her body was broken
-am I wrong for not saving her
I watched him drag her
Throwing her until her body
Was frail…. Board like
Using her as a human speed bump
-am I wrong for not saving her
I watched as his hands
Wrapped around her neck
While her tried to squeeze
The life out of her…..
Telling her to just die….
And all the pain would be over
-am I wrong for not saving her
I watched as tears falsely fell….
From his eyes
While he screamed to her
I love you and that’s why….
You have to die
-am I wrong for believing him
-am I wrong for not saving her
I watched as he let her free
I watched her look right at me
And pleaded for mercy
Reaching out her hand….
For me to be her savior
And as I turned away from her
All I could say….. All I could think was…..
-am I wrong for not saving her
-because nobody ever came to save me
