Am Ende - the End

Wann fühlt sich ein Tag an
wie eine Sekunde?
Eine Woche wie eine Stunde?
Nur wenn sie schon vergangen sind

Wann fängt die Erinnerung zu verblassen an
Wie fängt man sie, bindet sie an der Seele an

Das wünscht man sich
doch kann man nicht
Die Tränen fallen vom Gesicht
Sie tragen ab
einen kleinen Stich
und hinterlassen
etwas Glücklich

When does a day feel like a second?
A week like an hour?
Only when they have already passed

When does the memory start to fade?
How do you catch it, tether it to your soul?

It's what you wish
but cannot do
The tears fall from your face
The carry away
a small sting
And leave behind
something happy

Sweet expressions from wonderful lines which are so liberal to disallow the message stay hidden. I love this poem and it is definitely a 7... I studied German up to the B2 level.. So maybe these poems of yours would help me alot
