I'm sorry about your mom, Sharlotte. Your poem is so sad but the ending is the light at the end of a dark tunnel, the hope and promise of Heaven and a loving God. I went through this with my grandfather. I know the pain of seeing a loved one suffer. I hope you find peace in your poetry...love and blessings, Rhonda

Such a heartbreaking poem so sensitively penned - my mum has dementia brought on by a fall in 2009 - it breaks my heart to see her so frustrated and the fact she is going blind makes the situation far more intense - my heart goes out to anyone suffering from this cruel condition:-( Hugs jan x
