WoW! David, You said much in a few lines. This disease is dreadful, and it doesn't necessarily happen when one is old. Excellent job. Have a wonderful day-Alexis

Thank you Alexis, it really did take a family effort, to help and treat my mother, I had no idea it would push us all to near breaking point, but I'm delighted we all pulled together, and done our best

Your so right Alexis, although more prevalent in the elderly, it does affect much younger people, which perhaps makes this disease even more nasty and life destroying than it already is, thank you for dropping by, and for highlighting the no age discrimination of Alzheimer's, cheers David

A terrible disease David, it robs people of a lifetime of memories, so sorry it took your mother. Tom

Profound and heartfelt Monoku, David, the brain is the most significant feature distinguishing humans from animals.

Thank you Lasaad nothing irreligious here, My mother died from Alzheimer's, the disease destroyed her life, and she really did go through a living hell, I agree the human brain is what sets us apart from the animals, the way we process abstract thoughts into quantifiable equations is certainly unique, cheers David
