Alzheimer

Of all the
Things about her,
Beguiling smile is
All I remember.

Of all the
Faces I’ve seen,
Hers was the most
Relevant in dreams.

Of all the
Rewards I sought,
Her love was the
Best I ever got.

Of all the
Sounds I hear,
Her voice felt
Most soulful & clear.

Of all the
Lips touching mine,
Her lips felt
Most tepid & divine.

Rest of the
Things about her,
Kept fading away
With my Alzheimer.
