Always Yours
I can't seem to find you/ Are you stuck out in the rain
Why don't you come in for awhile/ I'll take away your pain
These burdens you keep/You know they're only bringing you down
How much further will you go/ Before you leave this town
You've spent your whole life trying/ To figure out where you belong
Not realizing that I've been here/ To help you sort out the wrong
You hold onto bitterness/ As a friend you've always kept
Only now do you understand/ It's the reason you have wept
We seem to hit our highs/ Only when we have our lows
Let's skip that together darling/ And leave it for the pros
You're no good at this damsel in distress thing/ I think its time to give it up
Because I'm not a knight/ To help you from this rut
I am a friend/companion to you in all days
Trust in me/ You know my ways
Forever will I love you/ always until the end of time
I'm your's sweetheart/ with the end of this rhyme
