Always Try Your Best

Always try your best
to write what you feel, 
though the world may be harsh
writing helps you heal.

I have learned from this
many times before,
but, there are times
I almost walked right out the door.

People may criticize
don't let them push you 'round,
they don't seem to understand
that you've lifted yourself off the ground.

Always try your best
don't give up so easily,
write to your heart's content
I know what I'm talking about, believe me.
