Always Stay
Whenever I think of you
within my solitude
Asking forever why
I spread my wings and fly
Through the skies I fly
at Heaven's gate I cry
Just to see your face
so my sorrows be replaced
But others grab my wings
and rip them from there seams
And cast me back down
I fall back earth bound
If I could free my soul
give you my angel's wings of gold
we could fly away
together we would always stay
I feel you in my dreams
my prayers all but reamed
I die each day and fade
each night my wings whole made
If a immortal and mortal love
only one can be granted Above
To my love I sent her dying soul
to Paradise I let her spirit go
Now an eternity on earth I roam
to humans I am unknown
The sin to love what should not be
Forever has cursed and condemned me
All I can do over again and again
to fly forth into the Heavens
Desiring to see her but once more
I am thrown down to earth's floor
I hear her voice within the wind
I feel her from the sun on my skin
I cry with her in the rain
I bleed my heart until it drains
Whenever I think of you
within my solitude
Asking forever why
I spread my wings and fly
