Always Near
After all this time I still at times find,
Memories of you still in my mind.
So many hopes and fond memories,
Tender memories that were shared
By you and me.
You opened a world of happiness and Joy,
And this young girl fell in love a very special boy.
Both of us looking for someone to hold their hand.
Seeking that special soul who would Know and understand.
Though we parted ways the feelings for you always stayed.
We shared a bond you and me,
A bond that would last through eternity.
And though you’re no longer here,
You memory is always near.
