Always, I Will Remember

Always, I Will Remember
(To my love, Barbara)

Always, I will remember
The years we spent together
All of them were good times
Sometimes mixed with stormy weather

To have the marriage that we did
All the bonding that we shared
All the giving and the taking
Always knowing that we cared

When I said I do and married you
Said, until death do us part
Our contract still continues
You'll always be here in my heart

I say, every day, “I love you”
Hope those who read this understand
You'll always be here with me
Though I cannot hold your hand.
